High School Students

If you are a current high school student who is considering a career as a science or mathematics teacher, then the next step for you is to enroll at the University of South Carolina (UofSC). Click here for an undergraduate application. And don't forget to explore the many teaching grants and loans on the financial aid page that might be available to you.

If you want to teach middle school (grades 5-8) you will need to apply for the BA/BS program in Middle Level Education
If you want to teach high school (grades 9-12) you will need to apply for a BS in a science or mathematics major, and then complete the 5th year Master of Teaching (MT) program from the UofSC Graduate School.
