The Story Behind the Nickname:
“I’m passionate about getting involved with kids who are struggling in school or those who are tempted by outside influences like drugs and violence,” says JaNece. “I want to make a difference in our future generations. If I can help one student to stay in school and get an education instead of dropping out, then I know I have made a difference. It is incredibly rewarding to change the game for a student and actually make learning fun and enjoyable. I make a point to do that each day in the classroom.”
